Director Mode — how-to

Multi-shot storyboards with locked palette + character. Render a 30-second video in one batch instead of stitching three Remix Lab clips.

Director Mode locks the aesthetic across the whole cut: one character (LoRA-trained), one palette, one lighting setup, one scene-of-day. You draft 3–7 shots in a timeline, optionally have the AI pre-fill the shot list from one sentence, and render the whole storyboard as a batch. Re-render any shot that comes out wrong without redoing the rest.

What it does - Multi-shot storyboard editor with drag-to-reorder - Continuity locks: character, palette, lighting, scene-of-day - AI shot-list pre-fill — one sentence in, full storyboard out - Batch render with per-shot regenerate (D) - Voiceover synthesis (ElevenLabs) muxed under the final cut - Auto-export the final cut to your brand asset library

How to use it 1. Open Director Mode (under Remix Lab → Storyboards). 2. Draft a shot list — or let AI prefill scenes from a brief. 3. Assign a Brand Character and per-scene prompts; add B-roll or music. 4. Run the batch render; OCCS stitches scenes with FFmpeg and muxes the voiceover. 5. Regenerate any single scene without redoing the whole video.

Good to know - Available on: Growth, Scale - Connected tools: Replicate (kontext / kling), ElevenLabs (voiceover) - Find it in the app: open `/studio/remix_lab/storyboards` - Use it for multi-scene sales videos where the same person should appear in every shot. - Voiceover can be one track or per-scene (ElevenLabs).
